GET THE MOST OF YOUR HIDEZ™

Because our exciting products are relatively new and we want everyone to gain the amazing results that we get, I am compiling a collection of
"Tips and Hints" for using our Products.

Many of them I have come up with though personally using and testing our products everyday on our animals and though the experiences that I have gained fitting many suits both here in Australia and in the United States.
I hope that some of these help you out and if you have any questions, please just  ask!

#1 -  When putting your Hidez™ Travel & Recovery suit, try to keep the suit's legs as high as you can on the horse's legs.  When zipping the legs up, rather than pulling down on the zipper (which drags the suit down the leg), pull the two sides of the fabric/zipper together and inch the zipper down.

#2 - When doing the back leg, gather as much material as you can at the back of the leg and bring it through on the inside of the leg.  Try and pull the suit around the leg rather than pulling the suit back and down, as this will pull the suit too far back and when doing the zipper that runs under the barrel, you will find that it is sitting too far back.

#3 - After working your horse, get this suit on ASAP.  This will help prevent lactic acid build up & tying up.  If your horse needs to be hosed off, scrape the water off and put the Hidez™ suit on straight away.  Your horse will dry underneath the suit.  The suit material is designed to pull moisture away from the body.  The horse won't catch a chill and will actually cool down at a better rate.

#4 - If you have been using your suit for a while and find the suit is a little loose, give it a wash.  This will tighten the material up again.  To wash, simply do all the Zips up and put it in the machine on a gentle cycle using cold water.

#5 - Do you find that your horse is stiff when you first start working him? Put your suit on him for a few hours before you're going to work him. This will get the blood pumping through the muscles & help take the stiffness out of your horse.  This is especially true for horses that are in stables or small pens/yards.  This also helps prevent injury as the muscles have already started warming up before you step on.  Many people report that their horse is more relaxed and ready to work straight away as the feeling of having the suit on is like having a gentle massage.

#6 - When doing the zippers up, make sure to lock the zipper into the end properly and ensure that you have put the zipper covers over the zips on both ends.  Also be sure that the cover that runs along the inside of the zipper is against the horse's skin.
